Sessions typically take place in a studio or the comfort of your home where your family can settle in and move at your own pace. Newborn sessions are scheduled during the first few weeks of life, but always with flexibility, because I understand that every baby and every family is different. There is no rushing, no pressure, and no expectation for perfection.
We pause for feedings, soothing, diaper changes, and rest whenever needed. My role is to gently guide you and your family while creating an environment where you feel cared for, supported, and fully present with your baby.
What sets my newborn experience apart is the intention behind every step of the process. I encourage families to show up as themselves, choosing clothing that feels natural and comfortable rather than styled or curated for a trend. This allows your images to reflect who you truly are in this season, not a version of you created for a moment. By using film photography, I create heirloom quality images with depth, softness, and authenticity that cannot be replicated. These photographs are meant to live beyond a screen, becoming part of your family’s legacy. Our process looks a little different...
BEFORE YOUR SESSION
Every newborn session begins with a consultation, either in person or virtually. This is where we talk through your family, your season of life, and what matters most to you right now. This is also where you’ll: share your vision, discuss styling, and view album and artwork options. This is also a great time for me to meet your children before a camera ever enters the picture. Comfort matters, especially with little kids.
DURING YOUR SESSION
I’ll gently guide when needed and step back when connection takes over. You don’t need to worry about your children “behaving” or getting everything right. Some of the most meaningful images happen in between, after a prompt, during a pause, in the quiet moments you didn’t realize were unfolding. Sessions are unhurried, relaxed, and rooted in real life.
GUIDED ARTWORK EXPERIENCE
Your images aren’t meant to live on a hard drive. After your session, we’ll meet for a complimentary ordering appointment where I’ll help you: select images you truly love, design custom albums and framed artwork, visualize pieces within your home
This is where your story becomes something tangible. Something your children will grow up seeing, touching, and remembering.
STYLING
I offer custom styling guidance for your entire family, so you’re never left wondering what to wear or scrambling at the last minute. If purchasing makes more sense for your family, I’ll provide styling boards with direct links, always with cohesion, comfort, and timelessness always in mind.

Can I add-on hair and makeup services?
I want you to look and feel your absolute best during your session. If you would like to add on hair and makeup services please let us know and we will arrange for them to either come to your home or studio before the session.
Will you provide wardrobe for my entire family?
I offer a curated client wardrobe as a resource for my clients, but more than anything, I want you to show up feeling like yourself. The most meaningful images are created when you feel comfortable, confident, and at ease, not when you are wearing something that doesn’t feel natural to you.
If you love wearing dresses around the house, let’s lean into that. If you feel most like yourself in jeans and a blouse, that is just as perfect. There is no right or wrong here. My role is not to dress you for a trend, but to help you thoughtfully coordinate what you already love so everything feels cohesive without losing who you are. When you feel like yourself, everything softens, and that is when the real moments unfold.
What is included in my session fee for a Dallas Newborn Photography session?
Your session fee includes session planning, styling services, as well as my time and talent as a photographer. Your session fee does not include digital and/or print products.
How long do newborn sessions typically last?
My Dallas newborn photography sessions typically last between one to three hours and are completely baby-led, creating a calm and natural experience for both you and your little one. We’ll take all the time needed for feedings, diaper changes, snuggles, or simply soothing breaks—nothing is rushed. I've intentionally built that flexibility into our time together so you can fully relax, knowing every sweet, fleeting moment will be beautifully captured.
